Volunteers Sought for Deception Detection Examiners Board

The Board of Bar Commissioners is seeking nominations to serve a four-year term as the Bar’s representative to the Deception Detection Examiners Board. The board reviews complaints concerning the unlawful or unprofessional conduct of a licensee under Title 58, Chapter 64 of the Utah Code and advises the Division of Public Licensing in its investigation of these complaints. 2009 Utah Mock Trial Competition

Dear Fellow Members of the Utah Bar:

The Utah Mock Trial Competition is back for 2009 and we are seeking both attorney and community volunteer judges to judge mock trials! If you have participated in this event in the past, you will remember what a fun and rewarding experience it can be, and if you have never
participated, please consider volunteering on a judging panel--you will be glad you volunteered!
