Finally, I want to congratulate Lauren Scholnik who has been awarded with the Dorathy Merrill Brothers Award for the advancement of women in the legal profession and Nathan D. Alder who was awarded the Raymond S. Uno Award for the advancement of minorities in the legal profession. Each has a long history of professionalism, public service and personal dedication to the building up of the legal profession and the awards were well-deserved.
