Heber, UT---The Wasatch County Judicial Nominating Commission has scheduled a meeting for July 12, 2010, to select candidates to replace Judge Reed Parkin who has been appointed to the Orem City Justice Court effective Sept. 1, 2010. The commission will meet at the Heber City Building, 75 North Main Street.

Applications are now being accepted for the position of district court judge in the Third Judicial District.
(Counties include Salt Lake, Summit and Tooele).
This position results from the pending retirement of Judge Stephen Henriod December 31, 2010.
Completed application forms must be received by the Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice
no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, August 2, 2010.

Harrisville, Utah—Applications are being accepted for a Justice Court judge position in the City of Harrisville. The position will replace Judge James L. Beesley who retired from the City of Harrisville Justice Court effective June 30, 2010.

Herriman, UT---The Salt Lake County Judicial Nominating Commission has scheduled a meeting for July 21, 2010, to select candidates to replace Judge Reed Parkin who has been appointed to the Orem City Justice Court effective Sept. 1, 2010. The commission will meet at the Herriman City Building, 13011 S. Pioneer St.

Heber, UT—The Wasatch County Nominating Commission has selected four nominees for an upcoming vacancy on the Heber City Justice Court bench. The position will replace Judge Reed Parkin who has been appointed to the Orem City Justice Court effective Sept. 1, 2010.

Following are the nominees along with their place of residence and place of employment: Randy B. Birch, of Heber City, Law Office of Randy B. Birch; Susan Griffith, of Highland, J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University; Jerry D. Reynolds, of Orem, private attorney; and Carrie T. Taylor, of Cottonwood Heights, Richards Brandt Miller Nelson.

A comment period will be held through July 30, 2010, before the names are submitted to Heber City Mayor David Phillips who has 30 days to make an appointment. Harrisville, Utah—Applications are being accepted for a Justice Court judge position in the City of Harrisville. The position will replace Judge James L. Beesley who retired from the City of Harrisville Justice Court effective June 30, 2010.

SALT LAKE CITY – Governor Gary R. Herbert has appointed four attorneys to the bench in the Second Judicial District, which serves Davis, Morgan and Weber counties.
