Financial/Licensing Administrator for Utah State Bar

The Utah State Bar is seeking a Financial/Licensing Administrator to replace the incumbent who is retiring. The Bar is a 501 (c) 6 corporation to which the Utah Supreme Court has delegated the day-to-day regulation of the practice of law and the licensing of lawyers. The Bar also administers group benefit programs for lawyers and coordinates a variety of public services.

The hire will be responsible for all finances; maintenance of the licensing databases and the annual re-licensing process. The hire will also oversee benefits and payroll for 30-plus employees. Requirements include 3-5 years experience as a controller or accounting manager and a CPA designation. The position involves hands-on accounting work. Qualified applicants must demonstrate the ability and willingness to do detail work and have the ability to communicate effectively and courteously with lawyers and the general public.
