Young Lawyers Division: Seventh Annual Phone-a-thon

The Young Lawyers Division invites you to its Seventh Annual Phone-a-thon to raise money for "and Justice for all" civil legal aid programs. We are looking for volunteers to join us in calling past donors to ask for their renewed support. The event will be held April 20 from 9 - noon at Panache Restaurant located at the Wells Fargo Center, 299 S. Main St., 2nd Floor.

Join us for whatever length of time you can and make only the calls you want to. We'll have pledge cards sorted for your ease in locating donors you know and feel comfortable calling. No cold calls - all names are past "and Justice for all" donors.

We have prepared talking points and answers to common questions to help you, and Panache will provide a delicious breakfast. Free parking is available in Wells Fargo Center's parking garage off of third south (the first light east of Main Street). All willing participants are needed to help man the phones - attorneys (young and not so young), law clerks, paralegals and other staff. Please consider bringing your cell phone to use. Otherwise, there will be donated cell phones for your use.

"and Justice for All" is a collaborative effort of Legal Aid Society of Salt Lake, Utah Legal Services and Disability Law Center to raise funds to provide legal advice and representation to some of Utah's neediest individuals and families - those dealing with poverty, violence in the home, disability, discrimination and other issues.

If you can join us, please RSVP by April 18th by emailing Staci Duke at sduke@communitylegalcenter.org or by calling her at 924-3182.
