Survey - Violence Against the Legal Profession
For more that 20 years, the media and legal professionals have identified an increase of work related violence against the legal profession. A private, 14 question survey has been created to help ascertain the nature and frequency of violence against members of the Utah State Bar. The survey will be available until February 17, 2006 with the results being published in the Utah Bar Journal and on the Bar website.The online survey will begin when you visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=321451606459.
2006 Utah Mock Trial Program - Volunteer CLE Training
The Utah Law Related Education Project 2006 Utah Mock Trial season is approaching. Attorneys who agree to judge one or more mock trials or coach a team are invited to attend the Mock Trial CLE training on January 25th at 5:30 p.m. at the Utah State Bar Law and Justice Center. Please download the registration form at www.lawrelatededucation.org by clicking on the mock trial page. Pre-registration is required. This year's case is a criminal case involving gambling and college athletics. Mock trials run from February 27th through March 31st in courtrooms throughout Utah.
