The United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit seeks applications for a bankruptcy judgeship in the District of Utah. Bankruptcy judges are appointed to 14-year terms pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §152.

Salt Lake City, Utah—Applications are now being accepted for a vacancy on the Utah Court of Appeals bench. The position will replace Judge Judith Billings who is retiring effective Dec. 31, 2008.

Provo, Utah—Applications are being accepted for a District Court judge position in the Fourth Judicial District, which includes Juab, Millard, Utah, and Wasatch counties. The position will replace Judge John Backlund who is retiring effective Dec. 31, 2008.

Richfield, Utah—Applications are being accepted for a District Court judge position in the Sixth Judicial District, which includes Garfield, Kane, Piute, Sanpete, Sevier, and Wayne counties. The position will replace Judge David Mower who is retiring effective Dec. 31, 2008.
