Summit County is currently recruiting for an attorney to work on a contract basis in the Attorney’s Office. The attorney will be expected to primarily prosecute cases in the Summit County Justice Court and the Third District Juvenile Court. The attorney will also occasionally assist the civil division in representing land use agencies such as the Board of adjustment. Attendance at public meetings in the evenings may be required.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited law school with a Juris Doctor degree. Must be a member of the Utah State Bar. Three (3) years of experience as a prosecutor is preferred. This is not a full-time position with benefits or merit status.
