Tribal Court Advocate – Utah Legal Services – Salt Lake Office

This position may be filled by a licensed attorney, by a paralegal, or by an individual with experience practicing in a tribal court setting. Native language speaking ability and poverty law experience preferred. Position will include travel to and providing legal assistance at tribal courts throughout Utah as well as conducting outreach and providing assistance to clients in the Salt Lake area. Utah Legal Services’ Native American unit is led by Bertie Kee Lopez, an experienced tribal court advocate.

Wage for Utah licensed attorneys: $43,680+D.O.E. Wage for all others: $26,374+D.O.E.

Full time position, with outside practice prohibited. Attractive benefits package.
