The Assistant to the Access to Justice Coordinator will coordinate the recruitment of attorneys to:
(1) provide pro bono legal services;
(2) serve on modest means panels which will accept qualified low income clients paying pre-set legal fees; and
(3) serve on lawyer referral lists to match those attorneys with qualified clients. This position will also include helping with recruiting, recognition, and public service (such as free legal clinics) events.
The position occasionally works late, as part of the Tuesday Night Bar program and the Debtor’s Counseling Clinic. Candidate must be experienced using routine office equipment, computers, and software. Experience in the Utah legal system and/or non-profit sector is helpful, but not required. Interested individuals should submit a resume and letter of interest by August 15, 2012 to Michelle V. Harvey at email@example.com.
