This position will provide legal support to Western Electricity Coordinating Council. The primary focus for this position will be to support the WECC compliance department under the direction of the associate general counsel. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: development of case files, representation in settlements and hearings, standardization of the process to develop defensible records related to audits, investigations, and other compliance efforts, creation and review of communication materials to registered entities, and provide other support to the compliance department and corporation, as assigned. Labor & Employment Attorney
In-house, part-time

Responsible for representing management in labor activities such as union certification elections, decertification elections, collective bargaining, grievance resolution, arbitration advocacy, and unfair labor practice charges. Provide counsel on employment matters to include employee problem solving, discrimination charges, mediation and litigation. Assist with minimizing risk and ensuring compliance with government and management requirements. Conduct staff training. Reports to the Vice President, Human Resources.
