Temporary Law Clerk to U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Judith A. Boulden

Position: Temporary Law Clerk to U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Judith A. Boulden

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Starting Salary Range: $56,411 (JSP 11) to $67,613(JSP 12) + depending on qualifications. This is a full-time temporary position for the period of January 2010 to March 2010.

Closing Date: Open until filled

QUALIFICATION: At least one year of experience in the practice of law, legal research, legal administration, or equivalent experience received after graduation from law school. Substantial legal activities while in military service may be credited on a month-for-month basis whether before of after graduation.

APPOINTMENT: The selection and appointment will be made by Judge Boulden

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Preference will be given to applicants who have excellent writing skills and have experience in the practice of bankruptcy law. Applicants should send a cover letter, resume, and law school transcript. Do not provide a writing sample and references until requested.

ABOUT THE COURT: The United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Utah, is comprised of three bankruptcy judges and serves the entire state of Utah. The clerk’s office, located in Salt Lake City, provides clerical and administrative support for the court, which conducts hearing in Salt Lake City, Ogden, and St. George.
