Downtown Salt Lake City law firm seeks an associate attorney as an addition to our practice. The qualified candidate would represent clients in family law, criminal and civil litigation proceedings (with an emphasis on family law). Good judgment and attention to detail is a must.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Member of the Utah State Bar;
- Two years of experience as a practicing attorney in the State of Utah;
- Ability to:
- advise clients of their legal rights and obligations;
- analyze and interpret laws, rulings and regulations with probable case outcomes for individuals and buisnesses;
- gather evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions;
- focus on problem-solving and optimizing client outcomes through mediated or negotiated solutions where possible;
- evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments for presentation of cases;
- represent clients in court and present and summarize cases to judges and juries.
