Position Title: Paralegal
Reports To: Jim Christensen, President

Marquette Equipment Finance, a subsidiary of Meridian Bank, N.A. provides equipment leasing and financing to companies throughout the United States. Our ultimate parent company, Marquette Financial Companies (MFC) is a $2.0 billion financial services holding company with a portfolio of subsidiary operating businesses. MFC’s lines of business include: commercial real estate investment banking, residential construction lending, commercial finance lending, banking, indirect auto lending and wealth management.

Position Purpose
Equipment Leasing Company, which does business on a national level, has an opportunity for a part-time position in our Salt Lake City office. This position would report to the President, and requires the following:

Education:
Some post secondary education preferred, college degree and/or Paralegal certification required

Key Accountabilities and Qualifications:
3 – 5 years experience in commercial and contract transactions

Experienced in UCC documentation:

  • Provide direct support to the Documentation Department

  • Legal compliance work

  • Self-starter

  • Excellent follow through skills

  • Leadership ability

  • Great project management

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Analytical

  • Strong computer skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication

  • Strong work ethic

  • Professional demeanor
  • Supervisory Responsibilities:
    None
