Position Overview:
Responsibilities include the daily management of deal negotiations and risk mitigation of complex secured transactions involving investment banks, finance companies, mortgage companies, law firms, rating agencies and credit providers within a business line. Daily activities involve setting up, negotiating and administering trust accounts that require specialized knowledge in trustee structures, lease financing, securitization of corporate assets, bankruptcy, and/or leveraged lease transactions.
Responsible for relationship management including client satisfaction, problem resolution and client retention. Assists in the evaluation of new opportunities, determining the company’s ability to perform varying sets of support services on transactions and assisting with setting pricing levels. Interacts with sales force to provide detailed expertise for certain sales calls, meetings and presentations as needed. Additionally, assists in identifying, evaluating and implementing enhancements to service offering and/or entrance into new market niches.
Duties include:
• Representing CTS in establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with clients originating and negotiating trustee terms in contracts , reviewing transactional documents and meeting customer's professional expectations
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, deadlines and high stress situations is a must
• Will be actively involved in developing and executing business and marketing plans involving our work in aircraft trusteeships, equipment, real estate, project finance, rail, vessel and statutory trusts.
Position Requirements:
• 10 years trust background, legal training and/or applicable experience.
• Juris Doctorate
• Able to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong oral, analytical, written and problem solving skills
• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively
• Ability to work in a compliance oriented environment with deadline pressures
• Customer focused with strong relationship development orientation
Preferred Requirements:
• Legal experience in structured finance
