The Salt Lake City Justice Court is now accepting applications for small claims judge protempore.
Requirement: You must be a memeber of the Utah State Bar for a minimum of 5 years and in good standing.
Once appointed, you will serve a 2 year term serving as a small claims judge protempore on a voluntary basis. You will hear small claims cases that do not exceed $7500.00. Salt Lake City Justice Court is located at 333 South 200 East, SLC UT 84111-2801. Small claims court cases are held every Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 5:30 p.m. You will rotate with other small claims judge protempores to hear small claims cases.
