For new graduates, we need good evidence (not just a statement expressing interest) that the attorney knows what is involved in practicing tax law and is ready to put in years of effort to become an expert in this area. An accounting background or LLM in taxation or a CPA degree would be progressively most impressive. Starting pay will depend on experience. Minimum three year commitment desired.
