2000 IOLTA Grant Awards

The Utah Bar Foundation has awarded the 2000 IOLTA Grants. Recipients for this year are as follows:

  • Legal Aid Society: $155,000

  • Utah Legal Services: $110,000

  • Law Related Education: $42,000

  • DNA People’s Legal Services: $30,000

  • Disability Law Center: $25,000

  • Multi-Cultural Legal Center $24,000

  • A Welcome Place: $24,000

  • Utah Dispute Resolution: $9,000

  • ULS Senior Lawyer Project: $6,500

  • Ethics Awards: $2,000

  • Scholarships: $12,000

  • TOTAL: $440,000

    The Foundation Trustees would like to thank all of the organizations that submitted requests for funding.

    Each year the Utah Bar Foundation provides continuing , significant support for organizations that provide legal services to low-income individuals. The Foundation also has been a long time supporter of Utah Law-Related Education. The Foundation receives its funding from Interest on Lawyer’s Trust Accounts (IOLTA). The Utah Bar Foundation is governed by a seven member Board of Trustees that are elected from the Utah Bar’s general membership.
